CONFLUX PRESS is an independent custom publisher of trade books in all genres, co-founded in 2003 by poet Jim Natal and book artist/graphic designer Tania Baban. We're based in Marina del Rey, California.
Custom publishing means there is no manuscript submission or selection process. As long as your manuscript or publishing project meets our quality and content criteria, we can create a book for you to match your vision at a reasonable cost. We specialize in taking projects from final manuscript, through each design phase, to the delivery of printed and bound books.
All Conflux Press book projects are collaborations; authors are involved at every stage of the book production process.
CONFLUX PRESS also offers book and cover design services to other publishing houses, and occasionally,
to individual authors. Book editing is also available.
Jim Natal is a poet, literary presenter, and workshop leader. He is the author of five poetry collections and multiple chapbooks. A multi-year Pushcart Prize nominee, his poetry has appeared in numerous print and online journals, as well as in many anthologies. After a 25-year career as a creative executive with the National Football League, he received his MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University L.A.
Tania Baban is a Los Angeles-based book artist
and graphic designer with BFA from Otis College
